Also known as the Florence of the South, Lecce is clearly one of my favourite towns in Puglia! I love walking around here and enjoying the very special atmosphere. I'd advise you to go early in the morning, before the tourists arrive, to make the most of it. You can discover Dumo and its crypts or the Roman amphitheatre. Holidays are also about relaxing and soaking up the sun on the beach. And I can assure you that Puglia is the perfect place to enjoy the sea while discovering magnificent landscapes. Puglia is full of small ceramic artisans who make absolutely incredible pieces! I never leave the region without stopping by one of them. This year for example, I brought home a super cute little mug that I use every day at the office. As a wine lover, it was essential for me to recommend a wine tasting at one of the vineyards in southern Italy. Activities of this kind are organised just about everywhere, and particularly in the Itria Valley!
