Although the temperatures remain high, the leaves are starting to change colour, the days are getting shorter and fall season is setting in. One question that comes to mind is what to wear this fall? You probably know this, but I love this season because I can finally put my big wool jumpers back on. Warm colours, knits and long coats, I share with you my best fall outfits for us women to fit this season! You'll see, there's something to face any weather!
For this first fall look, I wore a pleated Zara skirt and a American Vintage shirt. I accessorized the look with a pair of brown Calzedonia tights and white platform heels from Zara. Of course, I threw a coat on top to round off the look!
In Paris on a romantic getaway, we took advantage of the sunny weather to have a coffee outside. No question of being cold with the main piece of this outfit, a brown belted coat from Soeur. It comes with a belt but I preferred to replace it with the black Kelly 18 from Hermès to simplify the look. I wore it with a plain black t-shirt and leather trousers from Zapa. It's an old collection but you can find similar ones easily, I spotted this one at Ba&sh which has a lot of character. Matched with a Chanel bag and a pair of brown crocodile Jimmy Choo's, I was ready to enjoy the French capital!
Still in the city of lights, I visited one or the other museum and so I allowed myself to leave the big coats aside for an afternoon. I wore a white fringed blazer from NAKD with a chunky white knit jumper to make sure I wouldn't be cold! My Kure jeans are unique in that they have an asymmetrical closure, a small detail to change the classic designs. I finish this outfit with trainers, from the collaboration between Veja and Ba&sh, perfect to stroll along the corridors of a museum or down the Faubourg Saint-Honoré!
As a trench coat fan, this season I'm going for a version giving me some serious Matrix-vibes. It's in faux leather from NA-KD and is perfect for a statement look. I paired it with military inspired boots from Prada and my vintage Jackie bag from Gucci to accentuate the boldness of this outfit. Underneath, I'm wearing a grey knitted turtleneck from Acné Studios that I've had for 6 years and it hasn't changed, still so comfortable winter after winter! Unfortunately it's not available anymore after so many years but I found a good substitute on Asos!
For me, brunch is a year-round thing, so I took advantage of a sunny Sunday to wear this oversized grey jacket from NAKD. The knit adds extra depth to this outfit, I love it! I paired it with a fine black knitted cut-out top and some wide leg leather trousers this time. If you haven't figured it out yet, those are a must-have for fall. Choose natural materials to maintain it from season to season! A pair of plateau boots from NAKD as well, my Chanel bag and a pair of sunglasses - and I was ready to meet my girls.
When the weather is milder, I like to wear this sleeveless knitted jumper from Soeur. It goes perfectly with my new teddy bag from Jacquemus and a beige trench coat, a wardrobe essential. A cap for a sporty look and a pair of boots and you're all set! An everyday autumn look.
I hope you liked these looks, I personally love them! It makes me so happy to be able to take out my cozy jumpers. With the weather being quite nice this year, I tried to share with you some autumnal outfits to enjoy the last rays of sunshine as well as to face the gloomy days. If you have any of these pieces, show me on Instagram how you're wearing them!
